  1. Clone the Wrkflow on the homepage titled, “Your First Wrkflow” following this walkthrough video.
  2. Edit the Wrkflow you just cloned with help from this walkthrough video.

Once you’ve completed this step, please submit your feedback for Scenario One so we can continue to improve the Wrk Platform.

SCENARIO TWO

Build a Wrkflow to Collect Information

Next, let’s try to build a Wrkflow from scratch. The goal of this Wrkflow will be to generate information about a user from LinkedIn.

  1. Choose someone on LinkedIn whose profile information you’d like to pull—anyone will do!
  2. On the homepage, select the “Design a New Wrkflow” button, and give your new Wrkflow a name. You can do this in the Wrkflow Designer by replacing the “Untitled” text at the top bar.
  3. Build out your Wrkflow with Wrk Actions that help you gather profile data from the LinkedIn user’s profile page and send that information to yourself via email. (Psst — we outline the exact Wrk Actions in the “Required Wrk Actions” section below).
Check out this walkthrough video on building a Wrkflow from scratch if you’d like more detailed instructions.
  4. Launch a new run of your Wrkflow! Your results should arrive in your inbox in approximately 10-20 minutes! Note: The email may arrive in your Spam folder, so please check that as well.

Check out the tips and tricks below to breeze through these steps, and don’t forget to submit feedback on this scenario.

  • Here are a few more hints about this Wrkflow

The final Wrkflow should consist of SEVEN (7) Wrk Actions/steps + the Wrkflow Initialization step (rocket ship).

There should be FOUR (4) Replace text in Google Slides Wrk Actions in the Wrkflow.

The Wrkflow should result in a total of FIVE (5) Google Slides presentations, one for each row in your Google spreadsheet input file.

You should receive FIVE (5) emails if the Wrkflow is successful, such that you will receive an email for each Google Slides presentation produced.

Once you receive your presentations in your email, make sure your Google Slides presentations sharing settings are adjusted to "Anyone with the link", such that users can view the presentation without a Google account.

SCENARIO FOUR

Let your imagination go wild!

Now it’s time to have some fun. Build a Wrkflow with at least four Wrk Actions – the sky is the limit.

  1. On the homepage, select the “Design a New Wrkflow” button, and rename the Wrkflow by replacing the “Untitled” text at the top bar.
  2. Build your own Wrkflow from scratch using the Wrkflow Designer, using at least four Wrk Actions, referencing the walkthrough video on building a Wrkflow from scratch as needed.
  3. Remember to configure the Wrkflow Initialization step and Wrk Actions as needed. As always, you can use the “Chat” feature for support at any time.
  4. Launch a new run of your Wrkflow.

The goal is to get your Wrkflow to launch successfully. Remember, we’ll be there in the Chat to help you out whenever you need us. Once you’ve launched, take a second to fill out the final feedback form below. Happy building!

  • Keep it specific

Avoid starting a Wrkflow with a wide-range search Wrk Action (e.g., find all companies in SaaS in North America and their contacts)

  • Max 5 rows in spreadsheets

Ensure there are a maximum of 5 rows if you are using an Excel or Google spreadsheet as an input

  • Max 5 outputs

Your Wrkflow should result in a maximum of 5 outputs (e.g., 5 records created in Salesforce, 5 Google slides created, 5 companies found)
