Our Story
After working in the tech industry for many years and selling their previous company, Mohannad El-Barachi and David Li were on a mission to help business leaders across all industries. Throughout their careers, they found themselves and others like them losing time, energy, and focus to repetitive business processes that didn’t contribute to the bottom line for organizations. They knew there was a better way. In late 2019, they created Wrk as the solution to this problem. Our team has grown considerably in the last year and we continue to expand to deliver scalable results for our clients. In December 2020, we closed our Series A round of funding, in total raising over $55 million CAD. We've recently launched our Self-Serve Platform to help our clients even more. We've accomplished so much already and we aren't slowing down any time soon.

We are a remote-first organization. While Wrk is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, we have employees based all over the world. Performance Reviews
Twice a year, we have formal performance reviews so we can align, see where you're at in your development, and help you grow. We offer internal growth opportunities and opportunities to help you further hone your skills and contribute cross-functionally if you have an interest in areas outside your role or department.
We have defined career paths and provide access to training and resources to help you focus on your professional development. We also frequently offer Lunch & Learn sessions for the whole Wrk team to learn something new!
Activities and Events
Being a remote-first organization can lead to teams feeling like they're stuck in silos and prevent people from getting to know each other. We offer different types of opportunities to collaborate and socialize with other team members such as:
